Hat: Children's Place. Frizzle: Hall's House of Fun. A you can see, she had a love hate relationship with the hat. I hat purchased it at the last minute after it was cut to clearance price. ($3) Added to her basket that morning before church and it was NOT a hit. After church? All the rage.
I promise I don't intend to title these posts after Judy Garland musical sets, but what's a girl with AMC roots to do?
Here are some photos from Easter. We suffered from several ailments over the past seven days, beginning with a 102 fever for Susannah on April 6 that landed us in the doctor's office twice on deadline days. Then, either because of or in spite of, Galon and I both got the sniffles and his was topped with a side of fever. By Saturday night, when I returned after a girls day of surprises in Richmond, Galon was not feeling up enough to chance a six hour car ride to visit my Aunt in Clarksville.
We were all bummed because we had been planning that day trip for a while- but to hit it hard like that all in one day, we've learned we need to be bringing our A Game and Galon was only up to hitting the bathroom. Regularly.
SO after a rather boring but relaxing Easter, here are some photos that we felt compelled to take just to record the passing of time and season.
Dress: Grammy Grimm circa 2007 purchase. Ruffly socks: Gramma Hall easter package, along with some super cute pink sandles but beacause it was a fridgid 40 degrees, we went the socks/uncomfortable dress shoes route for Easter.
She was nearly asleep in the car after a morning at church with a packed nursery crew. We propped her up near the lilac bush long enough to get some photos and she was kinda glaring at us.
